Classroom lessons due to resume for A2 & Year 11 on 20th Sept (then on Saturdays) and for AS & Year 9 on 26 Sep (As)

Working within government guidelines, we will resume classroom lessons at QHS from the start of the 2020 academic year.

Pupils will be asked to enter and leave one at a time and should sanitise their hands before entering the building. We will sanitise the desks between classes and will have sanitisor available for those that forgot their own. The desks will be spaced between 1.5 – 2 m apart. Since all pupils will be facing the same direction, there is no strict necessity to wear face coverings, but those that wish to may do so. Any pupil experiencing symptoms that could be covid related should not attend the class. If us tutors (Menna and Deepak) need to come to a desk to help a pupil, we will wear a face covering and take care to use our own writing instruments…

In the event that, during the academic year, Harrow experiences a local lockdown, we will revert to online teaching via zoom

If you have any concerns, or wish to offer any advice or assistance, it would be most welcome; we are, first and foremost, teachers – so maintaining a safe environment for face-to-face teaching

We look forward to welcoming back our continuing students and to meeting our new students – it will be a busy year…
